Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency A. Azizov met with representatives of AZIYA IMMUNOPREPARAT LLC. The company, which manufactures innovative antibacterial agents against infectious diseases (bacteriophages) in the vaccine and serum field, presented a project to launch a new initiative within the Tashkent Pharma Park innovation cluster to expand its operations. During the talks, participants discussed improving bacteriophage production using new technologies amid strong interest from major foreign pharmaceutical companies, exporting these medicines to international partners, creating new jobs, project implementation timelines and other matters.
